Amazon Seller listing history, the record Seller Central never keeps

Amazon Seller to Notion, a real answer to "did that title change actually work?"

Seller Central keeps no changelog of your own edits. We snapshot your listings on a schedule through your own Selling Partner API account, pairing each change with the real sessions, conversion and BSR data that followed it, so the question finally has an answer.

From $375, paid once. No per-seat automation bill.

Amazon Seller to Notion automation by BoldBellows: a listing change snapshot paired with the real sessions and conversion data that followed it

The short version before you keep reading

  • A history Amazon doesn't keep Every edit, logged automatically
  • A credential that's only ever yours No shared, public app involved
  • Numbers next to the reasoning Not a spreadsheet with no context
  • Sits in your own workspace No separate tool to log into
  • From $375 one-off price

01 · the question nobody can actually answer

You changed the title three weeks ago. Did it help? Nobody knows.

BSR moved, sessions moved, something changed — but so did the season, a competitor's stock level, and a dozen other things you can't see. Without a logged record of exactly what you changed and when, there's no way to separate cause from coincidence.

Seller Central, listing detail Current title only, no history what it said three weeks ago? nobody kept it BSR moved. Why? Unclear. too many variables changed to say for sure
Before A result with no record of what actually caused it
  • No record of what a listing said last month
  • A performance shift with no logged cause
  • The same mistake repeated because nobody remembered it
B091K4 · change logged Mar 3 Title: "Cedar Trivet" → "Cedar Trivet Set of 4" Sessions 7d: 412 → 486 (+18%) Conversion held at 11.2% Note: added pack-size to the title
After An answer, dated, with the reasoning sitting right there
  • Every past version of a listing, dated
  • Real numbers tied to the exact change
  • A note explaining why, for future reference

02 · how it works

The mechanics behind an automatic changelog

On the schedule you pick, a credential scoped to your account alone pulls current listing attributes and performance figures, compares them against the last snapshot, and logs whatever actually moved.

Your Amazon Seller listings, sessions, conversion, BSR scoped SP-API access BoldBellows compares against the last snapshot logs what actually changed Your Notion workspace a running history, per ASIN already inside your pages
  1. 01

We settle on what counts as worth logging

Not every fluctuation deserves an entry. We define together which attribute changes actually matter to your catalog.

  2. 02

A snapshot becomes a dated entry

Where something's changed since the last check, we log both versions along with whatever performance figures your package covers.

  3. 03

We prove it against your actual catalog

Real ASINs run through the comparison before you see the workspace live, so the first entries you review already hold up.

03 · what fills the workspace

A page worth actually reviewing before your next edit

Whoever's deciding what to change next gets the full history laid out, not a memory of what seemed to work last time.

04 · who it's for

For anyone whose job depends on knowing what actually worked

Each role below needs a different piece of the same history. This builds it once and lets everyone pull from it.

Owners making the final call on edits

"I half-remember trying this title before. Did it help?"

The log actually remembers, with the numbers attached.

Listing specialists running experiments

"I make a change and lose track of what I actually tested."

Every test is dated and tied to what followed it.

VAs handling day-to-day listing work

"I'm never sure if I'm repeating a change that already failed."

The history's right there before they touch anything.

Agencies managing several catalogs

"Every client's listing history lives in someone's head, not a document."

A separate hub per brand keeps every history straight.

Priced by how deep the history should go

Choose a package, then decide how much gets tracked

05 · compare your options

Trusting memory, wiring up Zapier, or actually logging what happened?

Two of these rely on someone noticing and remembering. Only one of them writes it down automatically, every time.

A seasonal swing that looks like your edit's doing

BSR moving right after a title change doesn't prove the title caused it, especially heading into a busy season everyone's catalog rides along with.

A dated log across your whole catalog makes it obvious when a shift is showing up everywhere at once, not just on the ASIN you edited.

A listing edited through more than one tool

Some sellers manage listings through a repricer or a bulk-upload sheet as well as Seller Central directly, and a change from any of them should still get caught.

The comparison runs against the listing's actual live state, so it doesn't matter which tool made the edit.

Pricing

Build your Amazon Seller to Notion price

Pick a package, answer three short questions about what each snapshot should capture, how often it runs, and how the workspace should be structured, and your price and go-live date move as you choose.

Choose your packageRequired

The three packages differ by how much performance data gets captured and how the workspace is organized.

A real record of your listing's attributes, captured on a schedule.

  • A Notion database logging title, bullets, images and price per snapshot
  • A snapshot captured on a regular schedule for every active ASIN
  • Before-and-after comparison whenever an edit is detected
  • Your own scoped Selling Partner API account, never a shared public app
  • Handover notes (PDF) covering the full database structure
  • Two rounds of changes once you see real snapshots land

Sessions, conversion rate and BSR tracked alongside every listing change.

  • Everything in the Listing Snapshot Log package
  • Sessions, conversion rate and BSR logged alongside each snapshot
  • A linked product page per ASIN, accumulating its own history
  • A scheduled re-check on real cron that catches anything missed
  • Handover notes (PDF) covering the full tracking logic
  • Three rounds of changes once it is running

A complete workspace with dashboards, annotated changes and alerting.

  • Everything in the Change & Performance Tracker package
  • An annotation field for the reasoning behind every logged change
  • A dashboard view summarizing performance trends across your catalog
  • An alert when a listing's metrics shift outside a normal range
  • Handover notes (PDF) covering the full hub structure
  • Four rounds of changes once it is running

A launch-checklist template linked to real performance milestones, a multi-brand workspace with separate hubs, or a structure none of the packages above name. Tell us how your team actually works and we will price it for your build.

What should each snapshot capture?Required

More detail per snapshot means a richer history to look back on later.

How often should a snapshot run?Required

A tighter cadence catches a change sooner after it actually happens.

How should the workspace be organized?Required

A more built-out structure takes longer but scales further with your catalog.

How soon do you need it live?Required

Standard follows the schedule your other choices set. Pay to move up the queue and go live sooner.

Optional extrasOptional

Each one begins switched off. Turn on what your workspace needs, watch the total, switch it back off.

06 · process & getting started

From a catalog conversation to a workspace that remembers

Five stages separate a first conversation from a working log, and most of the work is ours to carry. You tell us what's worth tracking, connect two accounts, and look over entries built from your actual catalog before anything goes live.

  1. Step 01

We talk through what's worth tracking

Which attributes matter, how far back you'd want history to reach, and who actually reviews this workspace.

  2. Step 02

Both connections happen the same afternoon

A scoped SP-API credential from your side, a Notion integration token from ours, set up together while we're on the call.

  3. Step 03

The database and page structure come together

Fields, product pages and the comparison logic all take shape around what we agreed on in step one.

  4. Step 04

Your real catalog is the first thing it logs

Every active ASIN gets its first snapshot before you ever see the workspace, so it opens with real history already in it.

  5. Step 05

A short walkthrough, then we step aside

You see exactly how the log works and how to read it, and new entries keep appearing without us involved after that.

Your handover notes Every field and what populates it How a change gets detected How to add a tracked field solo What to check if an entry looks wrong Plain English, no jargon PDF Premium handover notes A PDF to keep and hand your listing team Log health Last run 05:10 · one change logged Checked on schedule · flags if a run fails

Turnaround by package

Nothing starts counting down until both accesses actually reach us. Choosing a faster tier at checkout is the one lever that moves it.

Listing Snapshot Log
4 to 7 days
Change & Performance Tracker
7 to 10 days
Full Optimization Hub
10 to 14 days

Your side of it

  • A regular login to Seller Central

Enough to generate the credential we'll be reading from, nothing beyond that.

  • Permission to connect an integration in Notion

Workspace owner access, even briefly, is enough for us to set it up.

  • A sense of which ASINs matter most

We can track your whole catalog, but a priority list helps us test the right ones first.

  • Whatever workspace you already run

We build alongside your existing pages, not in place of them.

07 · security and ownership

It reads what a listing says. It never changes what a listing says.

Whatever your catalog looked like the day before this launched is exactly what it looks like the day after. Observing a listing is the only power the credential actually has.

read-only your Notion no editing of listings logging only

Read access, nothing more granted

Changing a price, editing a listing, or placing an order is outside what this credential can even attempt.

Nothing about a buyer ever enters the log

The data here is your own listing and performance information, not anything tied to who bought what.

Entries appear only in the workspace you chose

Wherever we agreed the log should live is the only place a new entry ever lands.

Pull either connection and logging halts

Nothing further gets recorded, and everything already logged stays exactly where it is.

No separate copy of your catalog anywhere

Every check reads, compares, logs and moves on, without a shadow database sitting behind it.

The log belongs entirely to your workspace

Nothing about it depends on us continuing to exist. It's just part of how your Notion looks now, permanently.

09 · questions

What sellers want to know before they trust a log

These came up in actual planning calls before earlier builds went live. If your catalog has its own quirks, a quote request is the place to bring them up.

How does the sync actually know something changed?

Each check pulls the listing's current attributes and compares them field by field against the last snapshot on file. Anywhere they differ, a new entry gets written with both versions side by side.

Can this tell us that a title change actually caused a BSR shift?

It gives you the evidence to judge that for yourself: exactly when the change happened, and exactly what the performance numbers did around it. Whether that's cause or coincidence is still a judgment call, just an informed one now.

Does someone have to manually tell the system a change happened?

No, that's the point. It detects the difference on its own by comparing snapshots; a person only ever adds the reasoning note afterward, on the Full Optimization Hub package.

Couldn't we build something similar with Zapier?

Moving a single field into Notion is easy enough, but comparing an entire listing against its own history and only logging genuine differences isn't a standard action, so you'd be designing that comparison logic yourself, on top of paying per run as your catalog grows. We build it once instead.

We manage a catalog for more than one client. Does that change the setup?

The multi-brand extra keeps each client's history in its own hub. Beyond that scale, it's worth a custom quote so we can price the actual structure.

Is there a subscription hiding somewhere in this?

No. The credential only reads, we don't keep a separate copy of anything, and what you pay at setup is the only charge you'll ever see from us.

Amazon or Notion ships a change that breaks something. Now what?

Usually the log just goes quiet, which is noticeable within a day or two of watching it. With aftercare added, getting it running again inside 90 days is on us, not billed separately.

Stop guessing whether that edit actually helped

Let the history answer the question your memory can't

Work out your price in the builder below, or tell us about a competitor you want tracked too, a multi-brand agency setup, or a workspace structure these three packages skip. From $375, a single payment, nothing billed again after that.

Managing catalogs for several clients, or want a hub shaped differently than these three? Give us the shape of it and we'll price the actual build. It is also the answer to sync amazon seller orders to notion, amazon seller notion integration and amazon seller notion database sync.
