A full refund, until work starts.
A policy built to be fair on both sides: everything back if you change your mind before we begin, and clear rules once we have. Use the checker to see where your order stands.
The short version.
Four things worth knowing before you read the detail. Each clause below also starts with its own one-line summary.
Cancel any time before work starts and you get the full amount you paid. No fee is deducted.
Reviewing your systems, asking for or receiving access, building or testing, or any other task for your order.
Once work has started we do not issue refunds. Revisions and the 30-day correction period still apply.
Refunds go to the original payment method through the same provider you paid with. Banks usually post them within 5 to 10 business days.

Pick the line that matches your order. This guide explains the policy; the written clauses below are what apply.

We will tell you what the policy means for your order and what to do next.
You are not committed to anything.
You only pay after you approve a quote or choose a catalog service. A custom quote stays valid for 14 days, so there is no pressure to decide today.
- Browse fixed prices and delivery windows on the service pages.
- Ask a question before you commit; a person replies within 24 hours.
You can have a full refund.
Work has not started, so you receive the full amount you paid, with no fee deducted. Tell us your order reference and we will confirm and start the refund.
- Use the contact form and choose ‘Refund or cancellation request’.
- We confirm within 24 hours and send the refund to your original payment method, through the same provider you paid with.
- Your bank usually shows it within 5 to 10 business days.
This order is no longer refundable.
Requesting or receiving access is the first real step of the work, so it counts as the start. We cannot refund once that has happened, but you are not left with nothing.
- The two included revision rounds and the 30-day correction period still apply.
- If the scope itself is wrong, tell us now. We can often adjust it before building further.
- If we find that we cannot deliver the agreed scope, we tell you and refund the fee for that service.
This order is no longer refundable.
Building or testing is real work, completed and billed against the time it takes, so a refund is not available. What we can do is make sure the result is right.
- Use your included revision rounds to shape the result.
- Report anything that does not match the agreed scope within 30 days of delivery and we fix it at no charge.
We will correct it at no charge.
If the automation does not match the scope you accepted, report it within the 30-day correction period and we fix it. Two revision rounds are also included for adjustments within scope.
- Describe what you expected and what happened, with a screenshot if you can.
- We acknowledge within 24 hours and give you a fix date.
- Changes beyond the agreed scope are quoted separately.
Billing errors are always corrected.
If you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount or charged for something you did not order, we refund the difference in full, whether or not work has started.
- Send the order reference and the date through ‘Billing, invoice or payment’.
- Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. It is quicker for you.
Why the line sits where it does.
A refund policy should be easy to understand and hard to argue with. Here is the thinking behind ours.
Everything before kickoff
Until we touch your systems or ask for access, nothing has been spent on your order, so nothing is kept.
No fee deducted
We do not subtract a processing or admin fee from a pre-work refund.
Work is real time
Once work starts, specialist time is reserved and spent. That cannot be given back.
Revisions protect you
After work starts, two revision rounds and 30 days of corrections protect the result.
Errors always fixed
Duplicate or wrong charges are corrected in full at any time.
If we cannot deliver
If we find we cannot deliver the agreed scope, we refund that service’s fee.
Summary of the policy
Full refund before work starts. No refund after. Billing mistakes are always fixed.
BoldBellows is a trading name of Sunglasses Cent LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. This policy covers orders for fixed-price services and accepted custom quotes. It is part of our terms of service.
We deliver skilled time and expertise, not a physical product. From the moment we begin, time is committed on your order and other projects are scheduled around it. That is why refunds are available until work starts and not afterwards.
Before work starts
You get everything back. We do not deduct a processing fee.
You may cancel an order at any time before work starts and receive a full refund of the amount paid, with nothing deducted for payment processing or administration. There is no need to give a reason.
We will also cancel and refund in full if we decline an order before work starts, for example because a platform does not permit what you asked for or because we cannot meet the timing agreed.
When work starts
Work starts the first time we act on your order in any way.
Work starts at the earliest of:
- we begin reviewing your accounts, systems, data or documents;
- we request access, send an invitation or ask you to authorize an app, or we receive access;
- we begin building, configuring or testing anything for your order; or
- we begin any other task needed to deliver your order.
Reading the information you submit with the order, and replying to your questions, does not count as the start of work. If you cancel before we ask for access or touch any system, you are eligible for a full refund.
After work has started
No refund, but revisions, corrections and honest communication continue.
Once work has started we do not issue refunds. We will still complete the work, include two revision rounds, and correct anything that does not match the agreed scope for 30 days after delivery. See the revision policy and support and warranty.
If, after work has started, we determine that we cannot deliver the agreed scope, for example because a platform blocks a required action, we will tell you promptly and refund the fee for that service.
How to request a refund
Use the contact form, choose the refund topic and give us your order reference.
- Open the contact form and choose ‘Refund or cancellation request’.
- Include your name, the email address used for the order and the order reference.
- We reply within 24 hours to confirm whether work has started.
- If you are eligible, we start the refund straight away, to your original payment method.
Refunds go back to the original payment method. Banks and card issuers set their own posting times, usually 5 to 10 business days. We cannot speed up that part.
Billing errors and duplicate charges
Mistakes are corrected in full, any time.
If you were charged more than once, charged an amount different from the order or quote, or charged for something you did not order, we correct it in full whether or not work has started. Report it as soon as you see it, using ‘Billing, invoice or payment’ on the contact form.
Disputes and chargebacks
Please talk to us first. It is faster than a bank dispute.
If you have a concern about a charge, contact us before starting a dispute with your bank or card issuer. We respond within 24 hours. If a chargeback is opened for work that has been delivered, we will provide the payment provider and your bank with the order record, the agreed scope and the delivery history.
Subscriptions and ongoing support
Ongoing plans can be canceled for the next period.
If you buy an ongoing support or monitoring plan, you may cancel before the next billing period and will not be charged for it. Periods already started are not refunded, because the support time is reserved for you.
Your legal rights
This policy does not remove rights the law gives you.
Our services are provided to businesses and professionals. If you are a consumer in a country that gives you mandatory cancellation or refund rights that cannot be waived, those rights apply and this policy does not limit them.
Common questions about this policy.
13 short answers to what people ask most. If yours is missing, ask it and a person replies within 24 hours.
Why can’t I get a refund once work starts?
Work is skilled time that is reserved and spent on your order. Most agencies treat deposits as non-refundable from the start; we go further and refund everything until work begins. After that, the time has been used, but we still correct billing errors and refund if we cannot deliver the agreed scope.
Is anything deducted from a refund?
No. If you are eligible, you receive the full amount you paid. We do not deduct processing fees, administration charges or a cancellation fee, and we start the refund within 24 hours of confirming that work has not started.
How do I know whether work has started?
Work starts when we first review your systems, ask for or receive access, build or test, or begin any other task. If you have not heard from us about access, it has not started. You can also use the refund checker on this page, or ask us with your order reference.
How long does a refund take?
We start the refund within 24 hours of confirming that you are eligible. After that, how quickly the money appears depends on your bank or payment provider; banks usually post it within 5 to 10 business days. The refund goes back to the original payment method.
What if the automation does not work?
We correct anything that does not match the agreed scope, free, for 30 days after delivery, and corrections do not use a revision round. Report it through a support request in your dashboard. See support and warranty for what counts as a defect.
Do you refund custom quotes?
Yes, on the same rule: in full before work starts, and not afterwards. Milestone payments follow the milestone terms in the quote, so work paid for under a started milestone is not refunded, while a milestone that has not started can be.
Can I cancel by replying to the confirmation email?
Use the contact form with the refund topic so the request is logged and routed to accounts. Reply emails work too, but the form is faster because it captures your order reference and the right topic from the start.
What if I paid for an annual or ongoing plan?
Ongoing plans can be canceled before the next period begins, and the cancellation takes effect when the paid period ends. Periods that have already started are not refunded, because the support time is reserved.
Do you refund partial work?
No. Once work has started we do not refund. If we cannot deliver the agreed scope, we refund that service’s fee in full. We would rather finish the work you paid for, including revisions and corrections, than leave you with part of it.
Is VAT refunded?
Yes. If tax was charged on a refunded amount, it is refunded with it. The refund mirrors the original payment, so you receive back the price and the tax that was added to it.
Do you charge for cancellation?
No. There is no cancellation fee, and nothing is deducted from a refund you are entitled to. Cancelling before work starts returns the full amount you paid, and we start the refund within 24 hours of confirming that work has not begun.
What if my card was charged twice?
Tell us and we refund the duplicate in full, whether or not work has started. Include your order reference and the date if you can. Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank so we can correct it quickly.
Can a refund be sent to a different card?
Refunds go back to the original payment method, which is how card and PayPal refunds are processed. We cannot send money to a different account, because that is a common route for fraud. If your card has been replaced, your bank can usually still apply the refund to the new one.
