Terms that are clear and fair.
The agreement between you and BoldBellows for using the site and ordering automation services. Each clause starts with a one-line summary in plain English.
The short version.
Four things worth knowing before you read the detail. Each clause below also starts with its own one-line summary.
BoldBellows is a trading name of Sunglasses Cent LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. These terms apply when you use the site or order a service.
Orders are paid in full through our secure checkout. Full refund before any work starts; none after.
Every build includes two revision rounds and a 30-day period to report anything that does not match the agreed scope.
These terms are governed by Delaware law, without taking away rights you have under mandatory local law.
What you can count on from us.
Terms usually list what you must do. These are the commitments we make in return.
A clear scope
Every service page and quote states what is included and what is not, before you pay.
Careful work
Built with reasonable skill and care, tested before handover, and documented so someone else can maintain it.
Honest limits
If a platform will not allow something, we say so before you pay, not after.
Two revision rounds
Included in every build, plus a 30-day correction period for anything off-scope.
Fair refunds
Full refund any time before work starts. Billing mistakes are always corrected.
Confidential by default
Your business information is used only for your order and protected for three years after it ends.
Agreement and who we are
By using the site or ordering, you agree to these terms. We are a Delaware company trading as BoldBellows.
BoldBellows is a trading name of Sunglasses Cent LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“BoldBellows”, “we”, “us”). These terms govern your use of boldbellows.com and every order for services placed with us (together, the “Agreement”). If you order for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it. Our services are intended for businesses and professionals, not for personal or household use.
Each order is also governed by the quote or service page you accepted, and by our revision, delivery, payment, licensing, security and support policies. If anything conflicts, the accepted quote or order comes first, then these terms, then the policies.
What we provide
Fixed-price automation packages from the catalog, and custom-quoted builds for setups the catalog does not cover.
We design, build, test and hand over automations that connect the business software you already use. Services are sold as fixed-price packages listed on the site, or as custom builds with a written quote. Each service page and quote describes the scope, the included features, delivery window and anything not included. We do what the accepted scope says, no more and no less, unless you agree a change in writing.
We work with third-party platforms we do not control. Their features, limits, prices and terms can change, which can change what is possible. See clause 10.
Quotes and orders
A quote is valid for 14 days. An order is accepted when you approve it and pay.
- A custom quote stays valid for 14 days from the date we send it, unless it says otherwise.
- A contract forms when you approve the quote or place an order for a catalog service and we receive payment.
- We may decline or cancel an order before work starts, for example if a platform does not allow what is asked. If we do, you receive a full refund.
- Prices are in US dollars. Taxes, where they apply, are shown at checkout or on the quote.
Your responsibilities
Give us accurate information and the right access, own the accounts we work in, and keep your own backups.
- Accuracy: give complete and truthful information in forms and briefs.
- Authority: make sure you own, or have permission to use and grant access to, every account and dataset involved.
- Access: grant the access described in the access and requirements guide in a timely way.
- Backups: keep your own backups of data in the systems we connect. We take care, but automations can change records.
- Lawful use: use deliverables lawfully, and follow the terms of the platforms they connect to.
- Review: test and approve work within the correction period.
Access and credentials
We ask for the minimum access, through each platform’s proper sharing tools. Never send us passwords or keys in a message.
We request the smallest set of permissions needed, through each platform’s own invitation, app-authorization or role features. Do not send passwords, API keys or tokens by email, chat or form. After payment you are redirected to log in to your secure customer dashboard at boldbellows.com/customer-dashboard, and that is the only place to enter them. We explain how to create each credential with limited scope and how to revoke it afterwards. See security and access practices.
Delivery and acceptance
Delivery is counted in business days from when payment, access and a complete brief are in place.
Delivery windows run from two to twenty-four business days depending on the service, and start when we have payment, the access we need and a complete brief. The delivery and turnaround policy explains how business days are counted and when the clock pauses. Work is accepted when you approve it, or at the end of the 30-day correction period, or after 30 days without a reply to a delivery notice, whichever comes first.
Fees and payment
Pay in full before work starts. Custom projects may use milestones set out in the quote.
Fees are due as stated in the order or quote and are paid through our secure checkout (Stripe or PayPal) in US dollars. Work starts after payment is received, and after payment you are redirected to log in to your secure customer dashboard. Custom quotes may divide payment into milestones, which will be listed in the quote. Details, including failed payments and disputes, are in the payment terms. Please contact us before opening a chargeback so we can resolve the issue quickly.
Revisions and corrections
Two revision rounds are included, and you have 30 days to report anything that does not match the agreed scope.
Every build includes two rounds of revisions to the agreed scope and a 30-day correction period after delivery, during which we fix anything that does not work as the accepted scope describes, at no charge. New features and changes outside the scope are quoted separately. See the revision policy and support and warranty.
Refunds and cancellation
Full refund any time before work starts. No refund once work has started.
You may cancel and receive a full refund of the amount paid at any time before work starts. Work starts at the earliest of: our reviewing your systems, our requesting or receiving access, our building or testing anything, or our beginning any other task for your order. Once work has started we do not issue refunds, except where the law of your country requires otherwise. Full detail, with a self-check, is in the refund policy.
Third-party platforms
We are independent. Platforms can change their rules, limits and prices, and that can affect an automation.
BoldBellows is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any platform we integrate with. Product and company names belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility. Platforms may change their APIs, rate limits, pricing, plan features or terms, suffer outages, or decline an app or integration. We build to documented behavior at the time of delivery, but we cannot control later changes, and they are not defects in our work. We will tell you honestly when something we are asked to do is not allowed or not possible.
Intellectual property
You own what we build for you once paid. We keep our general know-how and reusable tools.
On full payment, you own the configured automations, scenarios, scripts and documents we create specifically for you, subject to third-party platform terms. We keep our pre-existing methods, templates, tools and know-how, and grant you a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use any of them embedded in your deliverables. The full position is in licensing and usage and the copyright and IP policy.
Confidentiality
We keep your business information confidential and use it only for your project.
Each party will protect the other’s non-public information with at least reasonable care, use it only for the Agreement and not disclose it except to people who need it and are bound to confidentiality, or where the law requires. This does not apply to information that is public, already known to the recipient, independently developed or lawfully received from someone else. Obligations continue for three years after the Agreement ends, and for trade secrets as long as they stay secret.
Privacy and data protection
Personal data is handled as described in the privacy policy and, for client data, the DPA.
We handle personal data under our privacy policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf, the data processing agreement applies and forms part of the Agreement.
Warranties and disclaimers
We promise careful work that matches the agreed scope. We do not promise that third-party systems will always behave.
We warrant that services will be performed with reasonable skill and care and will match the accepted scope when delivered. Except for that, and to the maximum extent allowed by law, services and the website are provided “as is” and “as available”, and we disclaim all other warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of third-party platforms or of automations that depend on them, or any particular business result.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability for a service is limited to what you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect losses.
To the maximum extent allowed by law: (a) neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data; and (b) our total liability arising out of or relating to a service is limited to the fees you paid for that service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, willful misconduct or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Indemnity
You are responsible for the data and instructions you give us.
You will defend and indemnify BoldBellows against third-party claims arising from data, accounts or instructions you provided that you had no right to provide, or from your unlawful use of a deliverable. We will give prompt notice, reasonable cooperation, and let you control the defense, provided you do not settle in a way that admits fault for us without consent.
Term and ending the Agreement
Each order ends on delivery and acceptance. Either side can end an order early for serious breach.
Each order lasts until the work is delivered and the correction period has ended. Either party may end an order by written notice if the other materially breaches it and does not fix the breach within 10 business days of notice. Clauses that by their nature should survive, including payment, intellectual property, confidentiality, liability and governing law, continue after the Agreement ends.
Using this website
Use the site lawfully. Do not attack, scrape or abuse it.
You agree not to: attack, probe or overload the site; bypass or test our security protections without written permission; scrape it at scale; submit false or automated form entries; upload malware; or use the site unlawfully. We may block access to protect the site. Website content is provided for general information and is subject to the disclaimer.
Force majeure
Neither side is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, labor disputes, government action, internet or power failure, and outages or changes at third-party platforms. The affected party will tell the other promptly and resume as soon as reasonably possible.
Governing law and disputes
Delaware law applies. Talk to us first, and if that fails, the Delaware courts decide.
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties will first try to resolve a dispute in good faith through the contact form for at least 30 days. If unresolved, the state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, and each party submits to them. If you are a consumer entitled to mandatory protections under the law of your country of residence, nothing here removes those protections.
General
The usual housekeeping: this is the whole agreement, and we can update it.
- Entire agreement: the Agreement is the whole agreement about its subject and replaces earlier discussions.
- Changes: we may update these terms. Changes apply to future use and new orders; an accepted order keeps the terms that applied when you accepted it.
- Notices: we notify you by the email address on your order or quote, and you notify us through the contact form.
- Assignment: you may not assign the Agreement without our consent. We may assign it as part of a business transfer.
- Severability: if a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- No waiver: failing to enforce a right is not giving it up.
- Language: the English version controls.
Common questions about this policy.
12 short answers to what people ask most. If yours is missing, ask it and a person replies within 24 hours.
Do I need to read all of this before ordering?
No. The summaries explain each clause in plain English, and the fixed-price service pages state the scope, price and delivery window clearly. The full terms exist so that nothing is hidden, not because you must study them first.
Who owns the automation after I pay?
You do, subject to the terms of the platforms it runs on. We keep our general methods and reusable tools and give you a license to use anything embedded in your deliverables. See licensing and usage.
What happens if a platform changes and breaks the automation?
Platform changes after the correction period are outside the original scope. We can quote a repair, and our support and warranty page explains the options, including monitoring that catches such changes early.
Which law applies?
Delaware law, without removing rights you hold under mandatory law where you live. If you are a consumer with rights that cannot be waived, those still apply.
Can you refund me after work starts?
No. Refunds are available in full before work starts. After that, we correct billing errors and refund if we cannot deliver the agreed scope. See the refund policy.
Can you change these terms?
We can update them. An accepted order keeps the terms that applied when you accepted it, so a later change does not alter an order already in progress. We tell clients about material changes.
Does the agreement cover agencies ordering for a client?
Yes. The agency is our customer, and the licensing page explains how rights pass to its client. Tell us on the quote form that the work is for a client.
What happens if you cannot deliver?
We tell you promptly. If we cannot deliver the agreed scope, we refund the fee for that service, and we will first offer alternatives such as a reduced scope if you would prefer.
Who is liable if a platform changes?
Platform changes are outside our control. We fix what falls under the correction period and quote repairs after it. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in question.
Can I end an order early?
Before work starts, yes, with a full refund. After that, either side may end it for an uncorrected serious breach after 10 business days’ notice. We would first try to put right whatever is wrong.
What law applies?
Delaware law, without removing mandatory rights you hold where you live. The courts located there handle disputes, but we ask you to contact us first so we can resolve things directly.
Are there fees for using the website?
No. The site is free to use, including the guides, the glossary, the search and the free tools. You pay only for services you order, and the price is shown in full before you pay, with taxes added at checkout where the law requires.
