Cookies, without the tracking.
A short, honest list of what this site stores in your browser, why, and how to control it. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.
The short version.
Four things worth knowing before you read the detail. Each clause below also starts with its own one-line summary.
We do not use advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies.
A few small items keep the site secure and working, such as chat continuity and security tokens.
Basic, privacy-respecting measurement shows which pages help. It does not profile you.
Your browser can block or delete any of these, and the site still works.
Our approach to cookies.
The simplest way to respect your privacy is to store as little as possible. This is how we do it.
Nothing for advertisers
No advertising, retargeting or social pixels, and no data passed to ad networks.
Security first
Form protection uses short-lived tokens that prove a page was loaded. They are not used to follow you.
Chat remembers you
The chat widget may keep a conversation so it carries across pages. That is its only job.
Payment providers set cookies
Our payment providers (such as Stripe and PayPal) may set cookies on checkout to prevent fraud and complete your payment.
Measure, don’t profile
Aggregate measurement counts page views and sources. It does not build a profile of you.
You stay in control
Block or delete anything in your browser settings and the site keeps working.
What cookies and similar tools are
Small files or browser storage that a site uses to remember things.
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, do the same job. They can be strictly necessary to make a site work, or used to remember choices or to measure how a site is used. This policy covers all of them. We call them “cookies” for short.
What this site uses
Security and form protection, chat continuity, secure checkout and aggregate measurement.
| Purpose | What it does | Type | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Security and form protection | Signed tokens and timing checks prove a form was loaded in a real browser. They are generated per visit and are not used to track you across sites. | Strictly necessary | Per visit |
| Live chat | Remembers an open conversation so it carries across pages while you browse. | Functional | Session to a few weeks |
| Secure checkout | Set by the payment provider (Stripe or PayPal) when you pay, to prevent fraud and complete the transaction. | Strictly necessary | Set by payment provider |
| Aggregate measurement | Counts page views and referrers without building a profile of you or following you to other sites. | Analytics | Set by the analytics provider |
What we do not use
Nothing that follows you around the internet.
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No third-party pixels from advertising networks.
- No cross-site tracking or fingerprinting for marketing.
- No sale or sharing of browsing data.
Third-party cookies
Payment providers and the chat provider can set their own, under their own policies.
When you use a service embedded in our site, such as live chat or the Stripe and PayPal checkouts, that provider may set cookies under its own policy. We choose providers who use them for service delivery and security, not advertising. Refer to those providers’ policies for details.
Your choices
Block or delete cookies in your browser. The site stays usable.
- Browser settings: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site storage.
- Global Privacy Control: we honor the GPC signal as an opt-out of sale and sharing. Because we do neither, there is nothing further to change.
- Do Not Track: we do not track visitors across other websites, so we do not need to react differently to this signal.
If you block all storage, live chat may not remember your conversation between pages and some form protections may ask you to reload the page. Nothing else changes.
Changes and contact
If we add a new tool that stores data in your browser, we update this page first.
We will update this policy if the tools we use change. Questions can be sent through the contact form. For how we handle personal data generally, see the privacy policy.
Common questions about this policy.
10 short answers to what people ask most. If yours is missing, ask it and a person replies within 24 hours.
Do I need to accept cookies to use the site?
There is nothing to accept for advertising, because we do not use advertising cookies or trackers. Strictly necessary items, such as those that protect the forms from abuse, work automatically and do not need consent. If we ever add a tool that needs your consent where you live, we will ask you before it runs, as the cookie policy explains.
Do you track me across other websites?
No. We do not use advertising networks, retargeting pixels or any tool that follows you from this site to others. The only measurement we use is aggregate and does not build a profile of you. Providers such as the chat service and the payment checkout may set their own technical cookies under their own policies, which the cookie policy lists.
Will blocking cookies break the site?
No. Pages load and read normally without cookies. You may need to reload a form page if your browser blocks the items that protect it, and the chat will not remember a conversation between pages. Checkout is hosted by the payment provider and may need its own cookies to complete a payment securely.
Do the payment providers set cookies?
Stripe and PayPal may set cookies on their checkouts to prevent fraud and complete payments, under their own policies. We do not control those cookies, and they are not used for advertising on our site. If you prefer, you can block them in your browser, though the checkout may then ask you to confirm your identity more often.
Are cookies required to browse the site?
No. Every page loads and reads normally without any cookies. A few small items are used only to make forms work safely and to remember a chat conversation, and the cookie policy lists each category and its purpose so you can decide what to allow.
Do you share cookie data with third parties?
Not for advertising. The providers we use, such as Stripe, PayPal and the chat service, process data under their own policies when you use their tools, and the cookie policy names the categories. We do not sell cookie data or share it with advertisers, and we do not receive data about what you do on other websites.
What is local storage?
Local storage is a browser feature that lets a site keep small pieces of data on your device, such as a chat session or a setting. It works like a cookie but is not sent with every request. We treat it the same way as a cookie: it appears in the cookie policy and you can clear it in your browser settings.
How do I delete cookies?
In your browser’s settings, under privacy, history or site data. The exact steps vary by browser, but most let you clear data for a single site or for everything. Clearing site data may sign you out of the chat or the customer dashboard, and you will see forms start fresh, but nothing else is affected.
What is Global Privacy Control?
Global Privacy Control is a browser signal that tells websites not to sell or share your personal data. We honor it, although we neither sell nor share personal data for advertising in the first place. If your browser or an extension sends the signal, nothing changes about how this site behaves, and you do not need to do anything else.
Will you add a consent banner?
If we add a tool that needs your consent where you live, such as analytics that sets cookies, we will add a consent banner before it runs, with clear choices and no pre-ticked boxes. At the moment the site uses only what is strictly necessary, which does not require consent, and we will update the cookie policy if that changes.
