Fully built for Microsoft Teams and BigCommerce

BigCommerce to Microsoft Teams, orders as cards you can act on.

We connect BigCommerce to Microsoft Teams for you, so every order posts as an Adaptive Card in the Team and channel that owns it, with a button to open the order and, on higher packages, approve or reject a refund without leaving the card. Running Multi-Storefront? Retail, wholesale and marketplace orders each land as their own distinct message from the start.

BigCommerce to Microsoft Teams automation by BoldBellows: order, stock and refund alerts posting as Adaptive Cards into the right Teams channels

The short version, before the details

  • All plans Standard to Enterprise
  • Scoped access Your own account
  • Real Adaptive Cards Not a plain text ping
  • Sits inside your own Teams Nothing here belongs to a third-party app
  • From $445 one-off price

01 · the plain-text problem

A ping with no order details is barely worth reading

Most DIY Teams alerts are a plain text message, or nothing at all, because Teams has no native BigCommerce connector. A card someone can't act on gets skimmed, then ignored.

General "new order i think, check it" "low stock again probably" no order number, no total
Before A ping with nothing to act on

02 · how it works

How we connect BigCommerce to Microsoft Teams

A compact, read-only connection links your store to Teams, built and tested entirely by us. No Power Automate flow or custom bot for you to assemble.

Your BigCommerce orders, stock, refunds read-only access BoldBellows builds Adaptive Cards de-duplicates every run Your Teams Team and channel routed in your own tenant
  1. 01

An incoming webhook connector goes on your channels

You add it from the Teams channel settings yourself, in a couple of clicks, while we walk you through it live.

  2. 02

An order lands, an Adaptive Card gets built

The thin webhook is just a nudge, so we pull the full order from BigCommerce and assemble the card's JSON from that.

  3. 03

Every button gets clicked before you see it

View Order, Approve, Reject: each one runs against a test order first, so nothing surprises you on day one.

03 · what reaches your channels

One card design per event, not one design for everything

A stock warning and a new sale need different fields on the card and a different audience reading it. We design each one on purpose.

04 · who it's for

For the teams whose whole day already runs inside Teams

Different departments read different things. This makes sure each one only sees the cards that are actually theirs to act on.

Operations leads

"Nothing official connects BigCommerce to Teams."

So we build the connection around how your channels are actually organized, not around a generic webhook.

Warehouse and fulfilment

"By the time we noticed, we'd already sold out."

A reorder-point card in the warehouse channel closes that gap before it costs a sale.

Finance and support

"A refund sat unnoticed for a fortnight."

Now it's a card with a decision button, sitting in the one channel finance actually reads.

Multi-storefront owners

"Everything from every channel lands in one heap."

Each storefront gets sorted to its own Team or channel from the very first card.

05 · compare your options

BigCommerce to Teams: a webhook, Power Automate, or done for you?

Getting something into Teams isn't the hard part; any of these can manage that. What separates them is order volume across multiple channels, and whether a card can do more than just sit there.

A webhook cap you'd hit by accident

Each BigCommerce store, client and scope combination gets only ten webhooks to work with.

One registration on our side handles every channel and event type from there.

A webhook that says nothing on its own

Without a follow-up API call, a card would show an order id and nothing else worth reading.

We fetch the order first, so the card that posts always has real detail to show.

Pricing

Build your BigCommerce to Microsoft Teams price

Pick a package, answer four short questions about your Teams, your channels and your cards, and your price and go-live date move as you choose.

Choose your packageRequired

The three packages differ by how many channels route events and how much a card can do on its own.

Every order posts as an Adaptive Card into one channel, kept current and never duplicated.

  • An Adaptive Card posted for every new order
  • Order number, total, items and channel laid out on the card
  • De-duplication on order id, so a retried webhook never doubles a post
  • A scheduled re-check on real cron that catches anything a webhook missed
  • Your own read-only BigCommerce API account, never a shared public app
  • Premium handover notes (PDF) covering every card field and rule
  • Two rounds of changes once you see real cards land

Events route to the right Team and channel, with a button to open the order.

  • Everything in the Card Alerts package
  • Routing rules by event type, storefront channel and order value
  • A View Order button embedded right on the card
  • Low-stock and refund cards routed to the channel that owns them
  • A daily digest card summarising orders and revenue by channel
  • Premium handover notes (PDF) covering every routing rule
  • Three rounds of changes once it is running

A refund or a large order can be approved or rejected right from the card.

  • Everything in the Channel Router package
  • Approve and reject buttons built into the Adaptive Card itself
  • A dedicated Team or channel for B2B Edition wholesale orders
  • @mentions on high-value orders, so the right person is pulled in
  • Multiple BigCommerce stores feeding one Microsoft Teams tenant if needed
  • Batched, rate-limit-safe posting that never chokes on a busy sale day
  • Premium handover notes (PDF) covering every card, rule and approval action
  • Four rounds of changes once it is running

Several BigCommerce stores feeding one Teams tenant, an approval chain across departments, or a card action none of the packages above name. Tell us how your team works and we will price it for your build.

Which BigCommerce events should post a card?Required

The more events you switch on, the more of the V2/V3 API surface we read and turn into cards.

How should events reach the right channel?Required

A Multi-Storefront setup can post to one channel with a value tag or spread across dedicated Teams.

How much should the Adaptive Card do?Required

Teams webhooks arrive thin, so every card level calls back into the API for the full record before it posts anything.

How soon do you need it live?Required

Standard follows the schedule your other choices set. Pay to move up the queue and go live sooner.

Optional extrasOptional

Each one begins switched off. Turn on what your channels need, watch the total, switch it back off.

06 · process & getting started

From your routing notes to live cards in Teams

There are six stages here, and we run most of them. You're only needed for a short brief, about ten minutes to set up the connection, and a quick review near the finish.

  1. Step 01

Draw the org chart for your cards

Which Team, which channel, which event: a short brief tells us where sales, warehouse and finance actually sit.

  2. Step 02

    Two logins, fifteen minutes

A scoped BigCommerce API key on your side, an incoming webhook connector added to each channel on ours to walk you through.

  3. Step 03

    The cards get designed

Field by field, we lay out what each Adaptive Card shows and which buttons, if any, sit underneath it.

  4. Step 04

    Every order type gets rehearsed

A retail sale, a wholesale order, a refund and a stock dip each run through before your team ever sees a live card.

  5. Step 05

Live for a few days, under your eye

Real cards land in real channels while you watch, and your package sets how many change requests come after.

  6. Step 06

We step back, the cards keep coming

A written PDF covers every rule we built, and posting continues without us in the loop.

Your side of the build

  • A BigCommerce login

Enough to set up the scoped API key yourself, or hand us a staff login and we'll do it.

  • Owner rights on your Teams tenant

Enough to add a connector to whichever channels end up carrying a card.

  • A rough org chart

Who owns sales alerts, who owns warehouse alerts, who signs off a refund.

  • Whatever's running already

An existing Power Automate flow doesn't need tearing out. We build around it.

07 · security and ownership

A scoped key, a card that only speaks, never writes

The connection reads your orders and does nothing else to your store. Every card it posts lands in a channel you named, in a tenant you control.

read-only your tenant no card numbers named channels

Scoped to reading, nothing more

Products, prices and customer records stay exactly as they were before we connected.

Show as much or as little as you like

Drop a surname to an initial, or leave the name off the card altogether, your call.

Pinned to the channels you name

Nothing posts anywhere else, and only that channel's members ever see it.

Cut off in seconds

Pull the connector or kill the API key, and the next order posts nowhere.

We're a pipe, not a warehouse

Your order data passes through the sync and lands in Teams. None of it sits on our infrastructure afterward.

Nothing rented, nothing expiring

The connector and every card design belong to your tenant, paid for once.

09 · questions

What people ask before their first card posts

Built up from questions on real projects. Anything missing can go straight into your quote request.

Where does your work stop and Teams's own tools start?

Adding a webhook connector is one line item in a much longer job. The card layouts, the routing logic by channel and value, the approval buttons and the digest schedule are all things we design and test against your real orders before you see them.

Microsoft doesn't sell a BigCommerce connector, so how does this reach Teams at all?

An order or stock event fires a BigCommerce webhook, but that webhook is just an id. We treat it as a signal to go fetch the real order over the REST API, and only then build the card from what comes back.

Does an Approve tap on the card actually do anything?

On Approval Command, yes. The card ships with Action.Submit buttons wired to your workflow, so a refund gets a decision without anyone switching out of Teams to find it.

Couldn't we just build this ourselves in Power Automate?

For a single trigger, sure. Past a handful of event types it gets rough: BigCommerce's webhook ceiling per scope, a flow that can't distinguish a retry from a genuinely new order, and Adaptive Card JSON for approval buttons that isn't trivial to hand-build. We hand you a de-duplicated build you own outright.

We run several storefronts under Multi-Storefront. Does that cause problems?

No, it's built around exactly that. A channel id rides along with every order, so retail can post to one Team, wholesale to another, or all of it can land in one channel with a tag telling them apart.

What's the ongoing risk to our data, and does the bill grow with us?

The API key can read, never write, and a name can be trimmed to an initial or dropped from the card. We hold nothing after the card posts, the build lives in your tenant, and one payment covers it regardless of how many orders come through.

And if Microsoft or BigCommerce ships a breaking API change?

The sync health log catches a broken run the day it happens. Add aftercare and whatever the change broke gets patched over the following 90 days at no charge.

Cards your team can actually act on
