Yes. Orders post in their original currency using Xero's own daily exchange rates, and on the Multi-Currency Ledger package or above, realised and unrealised gains are tracked properly instead of guessed at.
Our payment gateway isn't Stripe or PayPal. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Since BigCommerce never touches the payment itself, we match settlements to whatever gateway is actually depositing funds in your bank, rather than assuming one specific processor.
Will multiple sales channels stay distinct in Xero?
Yes. Each order's channel id carries through to a Xero tracking category on the posted entry, so you can run a report per channel without keeping separate organisations.
Does older order history make it into Xero too?
It can. BigCommerce's Orders API isn't limited to a rolling window, so past invoices load in monthly batches, which keeps your ledger balanced at every point along the way.
Is my store data safe?
The connection can't touch an order, a product or a price, since it's read-only from end to end. Nothing persists on our servers afterward, and revoking access is entirely up to you, at any point.
Is this a subscription, or a one-off cost?
