BoldBellowsOne sheet, any number of clones

Five Elementor landing pages, one form, one stable column shape

Duplicate a widget onto a new page and its field IDs quietly change underneath, even when the labels look identical. We resolve every clone through a shared field-ID dictionary, so your Google Sheet keeps the same columns no matter how many pages feed it.

From $275, paid once.
No monthly connector fee.

  • Field IDs decide the column, not the label
  • An unmapped clone never writes a stray column
  • Rolls out inside two weeks, start to finish

What a shared column schema has to hold up under

  • Field IDs resolved firstbefore a single cell is written
  • Every clone maps to the same columnspage after page
  • Rows append, they never overwritea live formula
  • Origin travels with the rowpage, popup or campaign
  • A failed append retriesagainst the exact row it tried

01The drifting-columns trap

Duplicating a widget doesn't duplicate its field IDs

Clone an Elementor form onto a new landing page and Elementor quietly assigns fresh internal IDs, even while every visible label stays exactly the same. A webhook keyed to labels can't tell the difference. Sound familiar?

"The sheet suddenly had a new column nobody asked for."

A cloned widget's field showed up under a slightly different key, and the sheet grew a duplicate column instead of matching the existing one.

"Half the rows had blank cells where the phone number should be."

Two widgets used the same label, "Phone", but wrote to different columns because the underlying field keys never matched.

"We couldn't tell which landing page actually generated the lead."

Without an origin column, every row looks like it came from the same generic form, no matter which campaign paid for the click.

A spreadsheet is only as trustworthy as its columns are stable. One cloned widget with a mismatched field ID is all it takes to break every downstream report.

Same lead form, cloned onto a second landing page. The difference is whether the clone gets resolved into the existing column set, or is left to write wherever its own field IDs happen to land.

Before

Leads sheet Column F: new, unexplained Column C: blank on older rows
  • Each clone's field IDs are treated as new
  • The sheet's column count keeps growing
  • No page or campaign origin is captured

After

Consult Page B — row appended field_c91d resolved to column "Email" ✓ Same three columns as every other page ✓ Origin recorded: Consult Page B ○ Dictionary updated, sheet untouched
  • Every clone resolves into the same columns
  • The sheet's shape stays fixed as forms multiply
  • Every row knows exactly which page sent it

02How it works

How a submission earns its place in the sheet

Each field ID gets resolved against the dictionary first, the row gets built from that resolved mapping second, and only then does it append, with page and campaign origin carried along for anything that never gets flagged as new.

An unrecognized field routes here instead STEP 1Resolve the fields Each field ID is checkedagainst the shared dictionary STEP 2Build the row Origin and canonicalvalues assembled together STEP 3Row appended Sheet coordinatesstored for later repair STEP 4Clones quarantined An unmapped fieldwaits instead of forcing a column STEP 1Resolve the fields Checked against the dictionary STEP 2Build the row Origin assembled alongside it STEP 3Row appended Coordinates saved first STEP 4Clones quarantined Unmapped field waits Quarantine routes to review from here
There's no growing column count here. A field either matches the dictionary, or it waits for someone to add it.

Elementor and Sheets object quirks

  • Cloning a widget doesn't clone its identity. Elementor assigns each form instance its own internal field structure, so two visually identical widgets can carry genuinely different keys underneath.
  • Sheets rewards an append-only pattern. The values.append endpoint is built for adding rows without disturbing existing ones, which is what makes a stable column contract worth protecting in the first place.
  • A popup form often has no page title in its payload. When a widget fires from a global popup, the submission itself doesn't say which page triggered it, so origin has to be captured separately.

03Inside the registry build

What each row carries, and how the schema stays fixed

Form Registry starts with one widget and a field-ID dictionary. Origin Model adds page and campaign capture across several cloned widgets. Analytics Control adds quarantine and ongoing reconciliation for the full column contract.

Uses each widget's field IDs rather than its labels as the mapping key.

Origin capture Origin Model

Preserves the page, popup, template or campaign behind every row.

Canonical column map Origin Model

Folds several widgets into one reporting model that reads the same way.

Unknown-form quarantine Analytics Control

Stops a newly cloned form from shifting the sheet's structure.

Registry reconciliation Analytics Control

Compares active forms and field IDs against the workbook contract on a schedule.

Exception queue Origin Model

A row that can't append gets tracked instead of quietly dropped.

Analytics Control adds this view: column-shape stability trending flat and stable while a quarantined-field count stays close to zero.

04Who it's for

Built for teams running the same form on more than one page

Landing-page managers, growth analysts, web production leads and spreadsheet administrators who need one clean sheet no matter how many cloned widgets are feeding it.

Landing-page manager

Ships new campaign pages constantly and needs every clone to land in the same sheet without a rebuild.

Growth analyst

Needs every row tagged with the page that actually earned it, not a generic form name.

Web production lead

Wants field IDs that hold steady through a copy rewrite or template swap.

Spreadsheet administrator

Would rather quarantine a new clone than clean up a corrupted column later.

05Compare

Label-based mapping vs a raw append vs BoldBellows

Appending a row from a webhook takes minutes. Keeping that row's columns aligned with every other clone of the same form is the part that only shows up once it's already broken.

The same-label trap

Two widgets both call a field "Phone" but store it under different keys. The field-ID dictionary resolves both into the one column that already exists, rather than letting the label decide.

The nameless-popup trap

A submission fired from a global popup carries no page title of its own. Registry reconciliation catches this and diverts it for review before it lands under the wrong origin.

How should the widget hand off to the sheet?Required

Proof the row actually landed needs more than a single fire-and-forget post.

How should a cloned widget be told apart?Required

A clone quarantine catches a duplicated widget a legacy match wouldn't.

How much origin detail should each row carry?Required

Dictionary tabs and origin dimensions need more work than raw submitted fields.

How soon do you need it live?Required

Standard follows the schedule your other choices set. Pay to move up the queue and go live sooner.

Each one begins switched off. Turn on what your rollout needs, watch the total, switch it back off.

06The process

Building the dictionary before a single row is trusted

Form Registry runs about 3 to 5 working days, Origin Model 5 to 8, and Analytics Control 8 to 12. If a campaign launch date is already locked in, the speed tier in the pricing tool moves things along faster.

Your handover notes Every field ID, mapped to its column How a new clone gets added safely Where origin data lives on each row How a failed append gets retried Plain English, no jargon Build summary Test set: 45 submissions run Rows appended 42 Fields resolved 5 Quarantined 0 Ready for handoff
  1. Inventory every clone

Every landing page, popup and template carrying this widget gets logged, however many copies exist.

  2. Build the field dictionary

Every underlying field ID gets tied to the canonical column it belongs in.

  3. Wire the origin tags

We set up how page, popup and campaign context get captured on each row.

  4. Try to break it

We fire freshly cloned, mislabeled and resent submissions to confirm the schema holds.

  5. Go live and audit the sheet

We check the first live rows against the intended column shape before stepping back.

Three things to have ready

  • Access into WordPress, whether that's the live install or a mirror of it.
  • A list of every landing page or popup that currently carries this form.
  • Edit access to the destination Google Sheet this build will write to.

07Security and ownership

Your one sheet, not your whole Drive.

Access is scoped to the specific spreadsheet you approve and the fields you allow into it. Unrelated files, folders and Drive permissions stay completely out of reach.

Standard Elementor hooks, nothing more

The dictionary logic runs entirely through supported form actions and hooks.

Unrecognized fields never touch the sheet

A field with no dictionary entry is quarantined instead of guessed at.

Only approved fields ever append

Anything outside that list simply never reaches the spreadsheet, checked before the build goes live.

Nothing sensitive sits in the widget

The Sheets service account credentials live in server configuration only.

A retry can't create a duplicate row

Any repeat attempt gets matched against the original submission before a new row is even considered.

The dictionary itself stays yours

You keep the field mappings, the origin rules and the code after handoff.

09FAQ

Questions about field IDs, origins and the sheet

Still unsure? We reply in plain English.

What happens the moment we clone the form onto a new page?

The new instance's field IDs get checked against the dictionary. If they're recognized, rows append normally. If not, that page's submissions hold in quarantine until someone maps it.

Why not just point a generic connector at the sheet?

For a single form living on a single page, that works fine. The trouble starts the day that same form gets copied onto page two, which a generic connector has no way to see coming.

Can the sheet include separate tabs for forms and fields?

Yes. The canonical model keeps an append-only submissions tab alongside dictionary tabs for forms and fields, so lookups stay fast without cluttering the row data.

Will renaming a field's visible label break anything?

No, as long as the underlying field ID stays the same. The dictionary keys off that ID, not the label a visitor actually reads.

Is there an ongoing subscription cost for this?

No, this is a single build fee with nothing recurring on our side. Google Sheets and anything else you already pay for continues on its own terms.

Can historical submissions be backfilled into the canonical sheet?

Where past submissions still exist in storage, not just as sent emails, a bounded backfill can run them through the exact same dictionary the live build uses. This page also answers searches for elementor forms to google sheets, sync elementor forms submissions to google sheets and elementor forms google sheets integration.
