B2Before and after

Your Shopify numbers are stuck in CSV files

Shopify is great at taking orders. Getting clean numbers out of it is another story: export, paste, fix doubles, hope the totals are right. Same store, same Google account — here is what changes once it runs by itself.

Sound familiar?

“Every Monday I export a CSV and rebuild the sheet.”

An hour or two a week spent copying, pasting and fixing formulas that broke since last time.

“My Zap keeps creating duplicate rows.”

Tools like Zapier add a new row every time an order changes, so one sale can show up three times.

“Refunds don’t show up properly.”

Partial refunds and returns land days later, and most exports miss them. Net sales end up too high.

“The payout never matches the bank.”

One lump-sum payout covers hundreds of orders, minus fees and refunds. Your bookkeeper is left guessing.

D4How it works

How we connect Shopify to Google Sheets for you

A proper Shopify Google Sheets integration has three parts. We build all three, so you never need to open a settings screen.

Your Shopify store Orders, items, refunds, payouts Read-only BoldBellows sync No duplicate rows Edits and refunds update Your time zone and currency Your schedule Your Google Sheet Tabs, reports and a dashboard Your Shopify store Orders, items, refunds and payouts Read-only BoldBellows sync No duplicate rows Edits and refunds update Your time zone and currency Your schedule Your Google Sheet Tabs, reports and a dashboard

1. A safe, read-only link

You create a small read-only app in your Shopify admin (we send the steps) and share a Google Sheet with us. We can see your data, never change it.

2. A sync that double-checks

New and edited orders flow in on their own. On a schedule, the sync also re-checks recent orders, so a missed update from Shopify gets caught.

3. Tabs and reports that make sense

We build the tabs you asked for, with plain column names and formulas you can read, then match every total to your Shopify reports.

E5Inside your sheet

What lands in your sheet, tab by tab

We sync Shopify orders to Google Sheets down to every item sold, then add the tabs that match your package. Plain column names, one row per thing, no mystery formulas.

The numbers you check every morning, with simple charts, on a single tab.

When the last sync ran and what it did, plus an alert if anything ever stops.

Orders, line items and products come with every package. Refunds, payouts, dashboard and sync health are added in Growth and Complete. See the pricing below for exactly what is in each.

Reports you will actually read

Raw rows are only half the job. We build the reports owners, buyers and bookkeepers ask for most, on top of your synced data, so they refresh with it.

Reports we build most often

  • Daily and weekly sales: gross, discounts, refunds, net, tax and shipping
  • Average order value and units per order
  • Best sellers and slow movers
  • Low stock and reorder points
  • Profit per order and per product, using your product costs
  • Payout reconciliation for your bookkeeper

G7Who it is for

Built for the people who live in the spreadsheet

If one of these sounds like your week, this Shopify Google Sheets automation will give you hours back.

Founders and owners

“I just want to know what we made yesterday.”

Open one sheet and see sales, profit and best sellers without exporting anything.

Ops and inventory

“We reordered too late again.”

A Shopify inventory Google Sheets sync puts live stock next to your forecast, so reorders are never a week late.

Bookkeepers

“Which orders are in this payout?”

Every payout split into orders, fees and refunds, so it ties to the bank line first time.

Multi-store and wholesale

“Three stores, three exports, three time zones.”

One roll-up that lines up stores, currencies and dates, with each store still on its own tab.

I9Your options

Shopify to Google Sheets: CSV, Zapier, an app, or done for you?

There are four common ways to get Shopify data into a spreadsheet. Here is how they compare on the things that matter once the sheet is in daily use.

Zapier and Make are great tools. They just add one row per event, so a Shopify to Google Sheets Zapier setup struggles once orders get edited, refunded or split into many items. Shopify Flow’s “add row” action has the same limit: it can add rows, but never update them.

Five or more stores, a warehouse or ERP in the mix, BigQuery, or a report none of the packages above describe. Tell us what you need and we will price it.

How many Shopify stores?Required

Each store is connected separately, then rolled up into one set of totals.

How fresh should the numbers be?Required

This is how quickly a new or changed order shows up in your sheet.

How much past order history should we bring in?Required

Shopify only shares the last 60 days by default, so older orders need extra permission and work.

Roughly how many orders a month?Required

More orders means more careful handling of Shopify and Google limits.

How soon do you need it?Required

Standard is whatever your other choices add up to. Faster options move you up the queue.

J11The process

From first brief to a sheet that runs itself, in six steps

You spend about an hour of your own time in total, most of it a 10-minute access step. No technical skills needed: if you can add a staff member in Shopify, you can do this.

  1. Tell us what you want to see

A short online brief: which numbers you check today, which reports you wish you had, and who uses the sheet.

    Day 1
  2. Give us read-only access

Create a read-only app in Shopify and share a Google Sheet with us. We send step-by-step instructions with screenshots.

    About 10 minutes
  3. We build the sync and the tabs

Your history loads in, new orders start flowing, and the reports are built on top in plain, readable formulas.

    Most of the build
  4. We check every total against Shopify

Sales, refunds, tax and shipping are matched to your Shopify reports for the same dates before you see anything.

    Before you review
  5. You review, we adjust

Use the sheet for real. Ask for new columns, a different layout or another report. Two to four rounds, by package.

    Your feedback
  6. Handover, then it keeps running

Premium handover notes as a PDF, explaining every tab. The sync keeps going on its own after we step back.

    Final day

N15FAQ

Shopify to Google Sheets questions, answered

Something else on your mind? Ask for a quote at the bottom of the page and we will reply in plain English.

Can you automatically export Shopify orders to Google Sheets every day?

Yes. Daily is included in every package. You can also choose hourly updates or updates within minutes of each order. New orders are added and edited orders update the same row, so nothing is doubled.

Why not use a Shopify to Google Sheets Zapier setup?

Zapier and Make add a new row every time something happens, so edited or refunded orders create duplicate rows. Each line item can also count as a task, so the bill grows with your sales. Our sync updates the existing row and has no per-task cost.

Will the numbers match my Shopify reports?

That is the point of the check step. We use your store’s time zone and currency, handle partial refunds, and compare sales, refunds, tax and shipping to your Shopify reports for the same dates before handover. If something differs, we explain why in the sheet.

I am on the Shopify Basic plan. Will this work?

Yes. The sync reads your data straight from Shopify’s API, not from its built-in reports, so it works the same on every Shopify plan, including Basic. You get custom reports without upgrading.

Is my store data safe?

We only ask for read-only access, so we cannot change orders, products or prices. Customer emails and addresses can be left out or masked. The sheet is shared only with people you name, we don’t keep copies of your store data, and you can remove our access at any time.

We have years of order history. Can you bring it all in?

Yes. By default Shopify only shares the last 60 days, so we request access to older orders and load 12 months or all of your history, whichever you pick in the pricing. Big histories are loaded in batches and older years go to archive tabs.

Am I locked in, and can I add things later?

No lock-in. Everything lives in your Google account and keeps running without a subscription. You can come back any time for new tabs, another store or extras like a Looker Studio dashboard or ad spend next to sales.
