BoldBellowsPosts that turn into decisions

Send Wix events to Microsoft Teams—and record who decided what

Important work should not end as a channel notification. We turn Wix activity into Teams cards with context, owner and response path, then escalate unresolved events and preserve the decision.

View Pricing

From $450, paid once.
No monthly connector fee.

  • Every card names an owner, not a channel
  • Unanswered decisions escalate on schedule
  • Cards start posting in 3 to 14 business days
Wix to Microsoft Teams automation by BoldBellows: a Wix refund event becoming an Adaptive Card with an approver assigned and the decision written back to Wix

What a Wix to Microsoft Teams build has to prove

  • Teams-native cardscontext arrives structured
  • Approver resolveddecisions reach the right role
  • Responses recordedaction has an owner
  • Escalation timedurgent work can't fade
  • Callbacks restrictedonly approved outcomes return

01The plain-message trap

A channel post can't prove anyone actually decided

A message tells the channel something happened, but replies scatter, notifications get missed and Wix never learns the outcome. Sound familiar?

"Nobody knows who's supposed to handle this one."

A plain channel post names no assignee, so responsibility depends on whoever happens to notice first.

"The approval happened in a reply thread, three scrolls down."

Approval lives in scattered conversation fragments instead of a recorded, retrievable decision.

"The urgent request just aged out of everyone's notice."

Without a response clock, time-sensitive items expire unnoticed instead of escalating to someone who'll act.

Posting a notification is not the same as governing a decision. What matters is whether a specific person acted, and whether Wix ever finds out.

Same Wix site, same Teams tenant. The difference is whether a card carries an owner and a response clock, or just sits in the channel as text.

Before

  • No assignee is recorded
  • Approval lives in conversation fragments
  • Urgent items expire unnoticed

After

  • Responsibility is explicit
  • Decisions enter a structured register
  • Unanswered cards escalate automatically

02How it works

How a Wix event becomes a governed Teams decision

We identify which Wix events need awareness, assignment or approval, build the card route with fields, channels, approvers and timers, then exercise success, rejection, timeout and callback failure before anything is live.

Reverified whenever a rule changes STEP 1Define decisions Inform, assign orapprove, per event STEP 2Build card route Channels, approvers, response actions, timers STEP 3Card posted Approver resolved, clock starts running STEP 4Governance tested Timeout andcallback failure run STEP 1Define decisions Inform, assign, approve STEP 2Build card route Approvers and timers STEP 3Card posted Clock starts running STEP 4Governance tested Timeout cases run first Reverified on any rule change
Nothing posts as bare text. Every card names its owner and carries a response clock before it ever reaches the channel.

Microsoft Teams object quirks

  • Webhooks post JSON, not free text. An incoming webhook lets an external application post a structured card payload into a channel, which is what gives the card its consistent layout.
  • Power Automate can wait for a response. When the chosen action supports it, a flow step posting an Adaptive Card can pause until someone responds, which is how the decision gets captured.
  • Legacy connectors are being retired. Microsoft is moving scenarios toward Teams Workflows, so the build uses the currently supported route rather than a connector pattern that may stop working.

03Inside the card build

What each Wix event posts, and how an approver gets chosen

Structured Teams Alert covers a single card posted to a single channel. Routed Teams Workflow adds routing and response capture. Approval & Escalation Desk adds real decisions with timed escalation.

04Who it's for

Built for the teams whose Teams tenant makes real decisions

Finance teams, booking operations, sales teams and Microsoft 365 administrators who need Wix activity to arrive as a governed decision, not a message someone might scroll past.

Finance team

"High-value refunds need approval outside the Wix dashboard." Decision cards route them to authorized approvers.

Booking operation

"Same-day requests get missed in the general channel." Time-based priority and escalation surface them.

Sales team

"Leads post to Teams, but nobody claims them." Acknowledge/assign cards record ownership.

Microsoft 365 administrator

"Legacy connectors keep changing." The build follows the current supported Workflow route.

05Compare

An email notice vs a plain Teams webhook vs BoldBellows

A plain webhook can get a message into a channel. Approver resolution, response capture, timed escalation and a restricted Wix callback are the part that takes real thought.

The unavailable-approver trap

The named approver is unavailable or no longer licensed. The escalation tier uses a role/fallback map rather than letting the request wait forever.

The retired-connector trap

Microsoft retires a legacy connector route. The implementation uses current Workflows/Power Automate guidance and documents the dependency for future migration.

Build your Wix to Microsoft Teams price

Pick a package, answer three short questions about message routing, card behavior and escalation, and your price and turnaround move as you choose.

Choose your packageRequired

The three packages differ by how much routing and approval control you get.

One Wix event posts a structured card to one Teams channel.

  • One Wix trigger
  • One Teams channel destination
  • Up to 10 mapped fields
  • Record link and priority label
  • One filter or threshold
  • Live tests, handoff and 3 free revisions

Several Wix events reach different channels or owners through Power Automate/Workflows.

  • Everything in Structured Teams Alert
  • Up to six Wix event types
  • Up to five channel/owner routes
  • Adaptive Card layouts
  • Acknowledge or assign response
  • Failure channel and response log

Critical Wix events wait for decisions, escalate on time and preserve an audit trail.

  • Everything in Routed Teams Workflow
  • Up to four approval/response card types
  • Timed reminders and escalation paths
  • Role-based approver resolution
  • Approved outcome callback to Wix
  • Decision register and administrator documentation

Enterprise tenant governance, bots, private chat delivery, many approver groups or regulated approval records. Tell us the real scope and we will price it for your build.

How many destinations should events reach?Required

Named approvers need more setup than routing by event type alone.

What should the card capture?Required

A validated approval decision needs more logic than an informational card.

Should unresolved cards escalate?Required

Multi-level escalation needs more routing than a single reminder.

How soon do you need it live?Required

Standard follows the schedule your other choices set. Pay to move up the queue and go live sooner.

Optional extrasOptional

Each one begins switched off. Turn on what your workflow needs, watch the total, switch it back off.

06The process

Five steps, decision audit to tenant handoff

Structured Teams Alert takes about 3 to 5 working days, Routed Teams Workflow about 6 to 9, and Approval & Escalation Desk about 9 to 14. The speed tier in pricing pulls whichever timeline applies forward.

Your handover notes Every approver, role-mapped Escalation timing, explained Who owns a stuck approval What happens if the tenant policy changes Plain English, no jargon Build summary Test set: 35 events run Cards posted 32 Decisions recorded 32 Silently missed 0 Ready for handoff
  1. Decision audit

We classify Wix events as inform, assign or approve.

  2. Tenant review

The Microsoft administrator confirms channel and application policies.

  3. Build

Cards, routes, responses, timers and callbacks are configured.

  4. Acceptance

Approved, rejected, timed-out and failed routes are tested.

  5. Handoff

Tenant ownership, monitoring and recovery steps are documented.

What your Microsoft admin will be asked for

  • Wix access and Microsoft 365 administrator cooperation.
  • Teams, channels, roles and fallback-approver decisions.
  • Card fields, thresholds and representative Wix events.

07Security and ownership

No blanket access to chats, files or unrelated teams.

The build needs selected Wix event data and permission to post or run workflows in approved Teams destinations. It never reaches beyond the destinations named in scope.

Tenant-admin visibility

Permissions are reviewed with the Microsoft administrator.

Channel limits

Only approved destinations are used.

Secret protection

Webhook URLs and app credentials stay server-side.

Data minimization

Cards show only fields needed for the decision.

Callback whitelist

Only named Wix outcomes can be written.

Client ownership

Flows, cards and registrations remain in your tenant.

09FAQ

Wix to Microsoft Teams questions, answered

Still unsure? We reply in plain English.

Can Wix orders send Microsoft Teams notifications?

Yes. Wix triggers can feed a Teams Workflow or another supported route that posts structured channel cards.

Can a Teams card include buttons?

Yes, depending on the chosen Power Automate/Workflow action and card design. We test the response behavior in your target tenant.

Isn't a plain Zapier notification enough?

It'll deliver a message, sure. Working out tenant policy, card schema, approver resolution, response capture, escalation and callback rules is a different job than posting text into a channel.

Can an approval update the Wix record?

Yes, when a specific supported Wix field or webhook action is included in scope.

Will this add an ongoing BoldBellows charge?

No. The build fee is paid once, at delivery. Microsoft 365 licensing and any Wix or automation-host costs you already carry keep running exactly as they do now.

Does the workflow read our other Teams messages?

Not by default. It only uses the permissions needed for the approved card and response route.

What happens if Microsoft changes connector support?

The handoff records the current workflow mechanism, and future platform migrations are evaluated and quoted separately. If you searched for wix orders teams notification, wix microsoft teams integration and wix teams alert automation, this is the service that delivers it.
